Clinical Therapist
Join the Sea Glass Mental Health team today! We are a therapist and woman-owned mental health practice that provides Telehealth therapy to AZ residents.
We are growing our team and are looking for ambitious and bright therapists to provide high quality individual, couples and/or family counseling. We highly value our employees’ well being and prioritize a healthy work/home life balance. We believe in reducing risk for burnout so that our therapists can continue to help and heal our clients long-term. This position is fully remote and has flexible hours- you choose when you want to work!
We are seeking licensed counselors and/or social workers who are licensed in Arizona.

Summary of Position:
Provides direct clinical therapy services and participates in the coordination of behavioral health services for youth (14+) and adult clients by performing the following duties:
- Conducts intake assessments for all new clients
- Develops individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients
- Maintains clinical documentation/records as required by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and Sea Glass Mental Health
- Administers best practice standards in all client sessions
- Establishes culturally competent behavioral health services
- Provides accurate diagnoses
- Provides client with community resources and referrals, when needed
- Provides education and support to family members of a client, when needed
- Participates in group clinical consultation
- Provides crisis intervention, when needed
- Manages their own availability and schedule
- Proficiency in SimplePratice and GSuite
- Correct use of CPT codes and general knowledge of how insurance works in behavioral health
- Performs other duties as assigned such as blog writing, PsychologyToday management, etc.
Sea Glass Mental Health therapists must possess:
- Ability to write detailed progress notes and treatment plans.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from admin, clients, and supervisors.
- A valid license from Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE): LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LAMFT, LMFT
- Master’s degree (M.A./M.S.)
- Minimum of one year of related experience (may include internship)
- Individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy

Our clients and therapists will use SimplePractice that includes features such as client self-scheduling, therapists’ schedule management, new client intakes and consents, clinical documentation, built-in assessments, automatic billing, etc.

Experienced administrative team
Our support team will handle administrative tasks for you such as billing, insurance claims, new client onboarding, scheduling and rescheduling support, etc. This allows you to focus more on what you do best!

In-network with insurances
We are in-network with Aetna, Cigna/Evernorth, BlueCross BlueShield of AZ, United Healthcare/Optum/UMR, Medicare, and Triwest. We also accept private pay.

Referrals
We do all the marketing for you!
