You can browse or therapist’s bios on our team page. If you have questions or need additional assistance finding the right therapist, please contact us via our contact form or send your inquiry to support@seaglassmentalhealth.com.

If your current therapist isn’t a good fit, we encourage you to email the Sea Glass Mental Health support team (support@seaglassmentalhealth.com). Please explain your concern, what isn’t working for you and we will do our best to help you find someone who may be a better match.

You can click here or click on any of the “Book An Appointment” or  “Book A Consultation” buttons throughout the website (also at the top of the page). You will be directed to our scheduling system, SimplePractice. From there, you can schedule with your selected therapist, complete online forms, reschedule or cancel appointments and message your therapist.

New clients can typically schedule their first session within 2 days-1 week.
All therapy sessions (including initial intake and follow-up) are 55 minutes.
At this time, all therapy sessions are Telehealth. This allows you to attend your appointment regardless of where you are.

As long as you have stable internet or access to a smartphone, we can provide therapy anywhere in Arizona. Our counselors work with individuals across the state including people residing in Phoenix, Tucson, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Scottsdale, Tempe, Peoria, Surprise, Yuma, Avondale, Goodyear, Flagstaff, Buckeye, Lake Havasu City, Casa Grande, Sierra Vista, Maricopa, Oro Valley, Prescott, Bullhead City, Prescott Valley, Apache Junction, Marana, El Mirage, Kingman, Queen Creek, Florence, San Luis, and other major and small areas.

As long as you have stable internet or access to a smartphone, we can provide therapy anywhere in Hawaii. Our counselors work with individuals across the state including people residing in Honolulu, Hilo, Kailua (O’ahu), Kapolei, Kahului, Līhue, Waipahu, Kaneohe, Mililani, Pearl City, Wahiawa, Lahaina, Kihei, Wailea, Wailuku, Makakilo, Aiea, Waianae, Ewa Beach, Halawa, Pukalani, Waimea (Big Island), Waimea (Kaua’i), Kapa’a, Koloa, Hanalei, Hawai’i Island, Maui, O’ahu, Kaua’i, Moloka’i, Lāna’i, Ni’ihau, Kaho’olawe and other major and small areas.

We may still be able to see you. This is all determined by your individual insurance plan coverage and benefits. Please email the support team (support@seaglassmentalhealth.com) to discuss this further on a case by case basis.

Therapy can last anywhere from one session, to several months or years in some cases. It all depends on the client’s needs and treatment type. The majority of psychotherapy clients report feeling better after 3 months. This is something that can further be discussed with your therapist.

We do not fill out disability or FMLA paperwork, however we are more than happy to coordinate care and communicate with your PCP (primary care physician) regarding these forms, if needed. In order to do this, we will need a signed ROI (release of information) that gives us permission to communicate with your other provider(s).

Our therapy sessions will use a HIPAA compliant video Telehealth platform, similar to Zoom or FaceTime. If there are technical issues, your therapist may resort to a phone call. If you need to get in touch with your therapist, you may email them or use the messaging platform in SimplePractice.
If you are having a psychiatric or medical emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. You can also reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 or contact the Crisis Text Line by texting HOME to 741741

At this time our team does not prescribe medications.

Fees & Insurance

Yes, we do! If you schedule with one of our interns, we offer a $60/session cash rate. If you have any questions, please contact us.

We are currently in-network with Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Optum, UMR, Medicare, and Tricare West insurances and are contracted with Blue Cross® Blueshield® of Arizona, an Independent Licensee of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. Insurance plans may vary by location and are subject to change. We encourage all clients to call their insurance and check to see if we are participating in their specific health plan. If you have any questions, please contact our team at support@seaglassmentalhealth.com.

If you don’t have insurance, you can self-pay. Our rate for an initial intake session is $175 and follow-up sessions are $150.

Yes. If you cancel your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time or miss the appointment, you will be charged $100.
